This sawdust briquette machines are used to compress sawdust, wood shavings, coconut shells, rice husks, peanut shells, olive shells, stalks etc. into solid briquettes for burning and heating. Any kinds of agro-forestry wastes can be used and recycled.

The briquetting machines compress the raw natural materials into stick shape briquettes under high pressure and temperature without any additives and binding materials, and the finished briquettes have the features of high density, small volume, which can take place of fuel wood and coal.

Commonly the common diameter of wood briquettes is 30-80mm, and the shape can be square, hexagonal and round shape with a central hole, which are easily burnt.

 The feeding materials conditions before putting into briquette machine:

1. The feeding materials from nature can be waste wood branch, sawdust, coconut shell, peanut shell, rice husk and other agriculture materials;

2. The feeding size of raw materials should be 3-5mm. If the raw materials size is larger than 5mm, one set crusher should be used;

3. The moisture of raw materials should be 8-12%, otherwise, the finished biomass briquettes are easily broken and have crevices. So before briquetting, one set drying machine can do the job to remove the water content properly.

 Production process of sawdust/charcoal briquettes:

1.Crush the raw materials into small pieces (diameter is about 3-5mm) by crusher;

2.Dry the materials by dryer or dried under the sun to 8-12%;

3.Put the material into inlet of briquette machine;

4.Compress the briquettes from biomass materials without any binders;

5.Carbonized the briquettes into charcoal.
